Oprah, Henry Ford, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerburg, Michael Dell, Bob Johnson, John Johnson.  What does all of these people have in common?  They have all built these extremely successful companies and created legacies that will and have out lived them.  So have you thought about the legacy you want to leave behind?  I have.  As a matter of fact I think about it and work on it everyday.  But I must admit it isn't easy.  I bet if you asked any of the people above was it easy they would all say hell no.  They had to make sacrifices.  They had to take risk and they had to get uncomfortable.  This is how I am living right now.  I am making sacrifices, taking calculated risk and living outside of my comfort zone.

So many times we are presented with opportunities that we know could change our lives and put off taking advantage of those opportunities because we want to wait and see what someone else will do.  I was watching Joel Olsten yesterday morning and his topic was based on Stop Waiting.   I thought this was so timely because I was having a conversation on Friday with one of my partners who said that she had people who said that they saw the opportunity, but they were going to wait and see how she did in the business.  To me that's crazy.  Someone else success or failure does not determine your success or failure.  Check out the video as I talk about this topic a little more.
